About Strident Healthcare

We are a team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians, and Administrators that are committed to providing an individualized quality therapy experience at Strident Healthcare. Our mission is to constantly make strides in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to ensure the best possible therapy for our clients. Our goal is to foster each individual child’s growth through evidence based practice. We focus not only on the child, but the entire family in order to ensure success.

Meet Our Team

Geralyn DeBoard, Executive Director

Geralyn has spent her career in service to families and children through education and for the last 10 years in autism center administration.


She began as a teacher in Detroit, provided educational leadership as an assistant principal and principal in Pontiac before moving on to her work in Autism.  In 2008 She was instrumental in developing the, formerly Children’s Hospital of Michigan Autism Center, now University Pediatricians Autism Centers.


Geralyn joins Strident with a wealth of experience in a wide range of initiatives for families affected by autism.

Jodie Mientkiewicz, BCBA

Jodie received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Special Education and a minor in Communication and Theater Arts.  She received her Master’s of Arts Degree from Marygrove College in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.  After graduation, Jodie spent 11 years as a special education teacher and teacher consultant for districts in Wayne and Oakland Counties.  

Working with children with special needs has always been a passion of hers, so she made the decision to go back to school, attending Michigan State University to earn her certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis.  She then went on to become a Board Certified Behavior.  Jodie has worked as both a technician and BCBA.

Stephanie Hankins, BCBA

Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. While attending the University, she began to work with children and families with special needs. Stephanie continued to help children and their families impacted by autism as a behavior technician after graduation.


Stephanie earned her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis, with a concentration in Autism from Ball State University, then went on to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).  The years of experience in the field of ABA has afforded Stephanie the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages diagnosed with ASD and families impacted by autism.

Drue Joseph, BCBA

Drue received her bachelor’s degree in Child Development with a minor in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University. After graduation, Drue decided she wanted to continue to help individuals and families impacted by autism by providing quality ABA services.


She then went on to receive her Master’s of Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Oakland University to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Throughout working in the field of ABA, Drue has experienced providing therapy for not only children but also with adults who have been impacted by autism.


Denise Quieta, Behavioral Consultant

Denise earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University in 2011. Denise proceeded to complete an Ontario College Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioral Science from St. Clair College. During her time completing her certificate, she was introduced to Applied Behavior Analysis and its effectiveness with individuals diagnosed with Autism. 

Denise later earned her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. Denise is currently working towards attaining her BCBA certification.

Denise has worked as a behavior technician in both home-based and center-based settings as well as working as a Behavior Consultant upon completing her master's level coursework.
